Greengem85 LLC was born from a childhood tradition that became a lifelong passion. As a young girl, I spent Saturdays thrifting with my dad—he searched for vinyl records, and I was allowed to pick one item of my own. What started as a way to keep me occupied became the foundation of my entrepreneurial journey.

Thrifting wasn’t just about finding nice stuff—it was a masterclass in community building, communication, and resourcefulness. I learned to identify vintage fashion trends, source quality pieces, and understand the real value of money. I discovered the thrill of bargin shopping, reselling high, and walking away with pride.
Our history
From modest beginnings, Greengem85 LLC was born out of a childhood tradition rooted in love, learning, and community. Every Saturday, founder Lynne and her father would head out on a thrifting adventure—digging through flea markets and record shops in search of hidden gems. While her dad searched for vinyl, Lynne was allowed to choose one item of her own. It quickly became more than a weekend routine—it was a masterclass in entrepreneurship.
Those early trips taught Lynne invaluable life and business skills: how to communicate with people from all walks of life, identify quality and style across decades of fashion, and understand the true value of money. She learned how to buy thoughtfully, sell intentionally, and take pride in the process.
Over time, that passion for thrifting evolved into a love for preloved fashion—especially vintage leather pieces with character and craftsmanship that stand the test of time.
Today, Greengem85 is a reflection of those early lessons. We continue the tradition of careful curation, community connection, and sustainability by offering high-quality leather apparel and accessories that are stylish, affordable, and built to last—all year round.
